Pros:

  • Cost: Significantly more affordable than Titanium while still providing a classic metal aesthetic.
  • Adjustability: Almost always feature adjustable silicone or plastic nose pads, which are crucial for achieving a comfortable fit for certain nose bridges.

Cons:

  • Weight: Noticeably heavier than Titanium or TR-90.
  • Corrosion: Over time, the plating can wear off from exposure to sweat and skin oils, leading to green oxidation or discoloration.
