The kind of hat that shows up in the bag with your umbrella, your rain coat, and the rest of your weather-obsessed life — and does its one job without a marketing gimmick.

That's the pitch. No reversible lining. No UV-block certification. No pocket. Just a bucket hat that knows what it is, made out of a cotton-poly blend that doesn't mind being crumpled, sweat on, or forgotten in a tote for a week.

What it actually does (since our lawyers say the listing needs "substance"):

• Wide eaves. The full-circumference brim shades face, ears, and the back of your neck — the three spots the umbrella handle can't reach when you're holding it in a crosswind.
• Aggressively foldable. Crumple it, stuff it, leave it in the bag for a week, pull it out, it shakes back. The cotton-poly blend doesn't hold a memory.
• Breathable, quick-drying. The poly-cotton mix is light and doesn't stay wet. Beach, sudden rain, sweaty commute — all fine.
• Drawcord chin strap. Optional. For the wind that doesn't care about your plans.
