We make umbrellas. Really good ones. Twelve ribs, steel shaft, the whole sermon. So selling you a raincoat feels a little like a sushi chef selling you a gas station sandwich.

And yet. Here we are.

Because sometimes you left The Bastion ( One of premium umbrellas, If you're new here.) at home. Sometimes you're at a concert, or a theme park, or a hike that "definitely wasn't going to rain," and the sky decides your plans were more of a suggestion. The Backup Plan is 140 grams of EVA that folds down to nothing, lives forgotten in your bag for months, and then — one cursed afternoon — becomes the most valuable thing you own.

Is it as good as our umbrellas? No. We said what we said. But it covers your whole torso, which is more than we can say for the umbrella you forgot.

One size. Fits 150–188cm of human regret. Reusable, so it's not the disposable kind — we have some standards.

• EVA material, 0.05mm, waterproof sealed seams

• 140g — lighter than your phone's screen time guilt

• Folds to 20 × 22cm

• Full-length (120cm), hood with drawstring, snap front

• Six colors, because even backup plans deserve options
