THE BASTION

We'll be honest: we're weirdly obsessed with umbrella ribs. Most people stop at eight. We went to twelve. Is it excessive? Probably. Do we care? Not even a little.

The Bastion exists because we got tired of watching umbrellas fold like lawn chairs in moderate wind. So we built one with twelve alloy-and-fiberglass ribs locked into a steel rod. It doesn't "flex gracefully" — it just... doesn't fold. At all. Ever. We tested it. Repeatedly. Maybe too repeatedly.

530 grams. That's the price of our obsession. You're welcome.

Folds to 32cm × 6cm. Opens to 105cm of "we thought about this way too much" energy. UPF50+ for sun. Water-repellent for rain. One button. Auto open/close. Single-handed operation because we also thought about your coffee-holding needs.
